2.57.1 Environment types

A character may specialise in survival in a particular type of environment, for example:

Environment Covers
Woods Coniferous and broadleafed forests, temperate and tropical rainforest
Mountains Hilly and mountainous terrain, including cliffs, crags and gorges
Plains Steppe, savannah, prairie, fields, scrub and other plains or grasslands
Desert Arid or semi-arid wastelands
Tundra Frozen wastes, snowbound terrain and tundra
Ocean Sea shores and estuaries, plus the waters of saltwater seas or oceans
Caverns Natural underground areas, caves, passages and tunnels
Marsh Freshwater areas, rivers and streams, lakes, marsh, swamp and bogland
City Heavily populated areas, dominated by artificial structures, such as cities or towns
