Perception

Perception (abbreviated as PE) is the partly physical, partly mental characteristic that represents:

• Senses, principally vision and hearing, but also smell, taste and touch.
• Interpretation, i.e. understanding the information his/her senses are providing (e.g. to pick out key details).
