2 Using skills

This section of Age of Magic provides rules for using skills to carry out actions.

For each skill is described:

• The areas/capabilities that the skill represents;
• Its governing characteristics;
• Allowable broad and narrow specialisms;
• Situations in which the skill is used to perform a dice roll, and the characteristic that should be used with the skill in that situation.
