3.4.7 Knocking a mounted character off his/her mount
There are a number of ways that a mounted character can be knocked off
his/her mount, as follows:
- if a mounted character is stunned by the pain
of an injury, he/she must make a dice roll
to remain mounted (counts as an average obstacle);
- if a mounted character is knocked over by a
blow, he/she will fall off his/her mount;
- if a mounted character is knocked unconscious by the
pain of an injury or by a specific injury,
he/she will fall off his/her mount;
- if a mounted character is successfully attacked using a pull down
maneuver, he/she will fall off his/her mount (this represents being
grabbed and pulled or pushed off the mount);
- if a mounted character's mount falls over or is knocked over or
unconscious.
A mounted character who falls off his/her mount may
take damage from the fall, and will normally
be left prone in one of the hexes adjacent to the mount.
