2.37 Magic - Truth skill

Governing characteristics: WP , PE

Represents: The skill of casting magical spells and rituals based on truth (e.g. detection). Truth magic can be used to cast a variety of different magical effects, and is the best magical skill for casting detection, sight, retrocognition and precognition enchantments. Only a character with active magic talent may cast magic. A character without active magic talent may still learn this skill, but will only be able to use it for sensing magic and judging another's magical skill score.

Broad specialisms:

• A specific magical effect (e.g. Detection, Suppression, Enhancement, etc.).

Narrow specialisms:

• A specific spell (i.e. pre-defined nature, power, finesse, duration, range, area, concealment).
• Sensing Truth magic.
• Judging another's Magic - Truth skill score.
