2.35 Magic - Projection skill

Governing characteristics: WP

Represents: The skill of casting magical spells and rituals based on projecting own will to directly control what is taking place elsewhere (e.g. telepathy, telekinesis). Projection magic can be used to cast a variety of different magical effects, and is the best magical skill for casting teleport, telekinesis, telepathy, suggestion and disorientation enchantments. Only a character with active magic talent may cast magic. A character without active magic talent may still learn this skill, but will only be able to use it for sensing magic and judging another's magical skill score.

Broad specialisms:

• A specific magical effect (e.g. Detection, Attack, Suppression, Enhancement, etc.).

Narrow specialisms:

• A specific spell (i.e. pre-defined nature, power, finesse, duration, range, area, concealment).
• Sensing projection magic.
• Judging another's Magic - Projection skill score.
